Walnut Form With Rope Rim
This figured walnut bowl came from a tree in a friend's grandmother's yard. The tree was leaning toward her barn and she wanted it taken down so her grandson and I removed it for her.
The closed form is highlighted with a carved rope rim that accentuates the beautiful figure in the wood. This wood was a dream to work with and really made turning and carving it fun.
